October 25 AMT Review of LME Base Metals

The following is a daily review of metals trading published on October 25 by Amalgamated Metal Trading Limited (AMT), a leading brokerage firm of the London Metal Exchange (LME).

Copper: The trend is once again volatile, and new technology buying has pushed copper prices higher throughout the day.

Aluminum: The price of copper was calmer and rose after midday.

Lead: Today's performance is positive, and the $1,000 position is still the resistance.

Zinc: A slight bearish atmosphere compared to last Friday. If it rises again to the $1,500 position, there will be selling.

Tin: The deal is quite quiet and the upside is expected to be limited.

Nickel: There was an oversold signal, and there was a short-selling opportunity for short covering.
