HC Security Reuters year approaches, all kinds of theft has occurred frequently. After all, the thief is also preparing to come to the "big list" to go home for the New Year. With the improvement of people's safety awareness, the requirements for various door locks are also increasing. Let's take a look at the current market situation of locks in China: In 2010, the annual sales of domestic locks were over 40 billion yuan, the output was 1.9 billion, and the annual export volume exceeded 10 billion. China has become the world's largest producer and consumer of lock products. According to customs statistics, in 2012 China's lock products were exported to 208 countries and regions, and the cumulative export volume reached 5.229 billion US dollars. In 2015, the output of China's locks exceeded 2 billion, with sales of around 60 billion yuan.
However, the standard of the lock industry is still lagging behind. After the implementation of the GA/T73-2015 "mechanical anti-theft lock" standard, the manufacturers' propaganda on the locks is still very inconsistent.
Current standards are not uniform
Although China is a big country with locks, the current standards for locks are not uniform. According to the earlier industry standard of GA/T73-94 "mechanical anti-theft lock", anti-theft locks are classified into common protection level (Grade A) and high protection level (Grade B) according to their anti-theft capabilities. According to the current GA/T73-2015 "mechanical anti-theft lock" industry standard, anti-theft locks are classified into A-class, B-class and C-class according to their anti-theft ability. The following two tables are indicators of the protection of these two standards for locks at all levels.
Mechanical anti-theft lock current standard
In addition to the above industry standards, there is also a national standard for locks. According to the national standard GB21556-2008 "General safety technical conditions for locks", mechanical anti-theft locks are classified into B-class and A-class according to their anti-theft ability, which is just opposite to GA/T73-94 and GA/T73-2015. The following table shows the GB21556-2008 national standard for the protection of two-level locks.
According to Article 10 of the Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China: the formulation of standards should be coordinated and coordinated with relevant standards. Industry standards must be developed in accordance with national standards and higher than national standards. But the standards mentioned above clearly do not meet this requirement. So how do these two standards fit together? How to resolve the contradiction in the standard? It has not been solved accordingly. From the current situation, most of the mechanical anti-theft lock manufacturers are explained in accordance with the GA/T73-2015 standard, but the arguments are very inconsistent. In the recent episode of CCTV's "Today's Statement" column, a lock industry person who remembered to interview was also divided into five levels: A, B, B+, C, and C+.
Industry promotion is not scientific
In addition to the above mentioned, the standard is not uniform. For enterprises, many companies are currently "creating" their own standards in order to highlight their own advantages. Before the promulgation of the GA/T73-2015 standard, according to the GA/T73-94 "mechanical anti-theft lock" standard, anti-theft locks According to its anti-theft ability, it is divided into common protection level (A grade) and high protection grade (B grade). Many companies in the industry say that their products are super B when they are publicized. This situation still exists in the industry. According to current standards, Super Class B should be classified as Class C. Because there is no "super B class" in the current three standards.
After the GA/T73-2015 "mechanical anti-theft lock" standard was produced, there are now five categories of locks. This conclusion cannot be obtained either according to the national standard GB21556-2008 "General Safety Technical Conditions for Locks" or according to the GA/T73-2015 "Mechanical Anti-theft Lock" standard. At the same time, the company believes that the C+ file is a lock that will never be destroyed. Then the problem is coming. There is no lock that cannot be destroyed in the current industry development. No matter how safe the lock is, as long as there is enough time and technical equipment can be destroyed, I don't know the conclusion of the company's "lock that will never be destroyed". Of course, in addition to the current standards, the indicators on the protective ability of locks are allowed to be different, but according to what kind of standards, should the "five types of locks" be explained? If there is no basis only to promote the performance of their products, is this propaganda method somewhat unscientific?
Not only that, but currently downloading certain standards from the Internet is paid. When we click to read the GA/T73-2015 standard, we need to pay to read. As an industry standard and a national standard that should be widely advertised, it becomes a charge item when the readers understand it. So what kind of target group do you want to set such a standard? Is it appropriate to make some standards become the way to make money for certain institutions? Because it is unwilling to pay the fees, the formulation of standards cannot be widely disseminated. How to solve the status quo of such industry standards?
HC Security Network Summary
As the saying goes, "There is no rule that is not a square." But too many rules are not a good thing. How to solve the contradiction between the national standards and industry standards in the lock industry; how should enterprises correctly implement standards instead of “creating†standards at will; and how to publicize and popularize industry standards is the problem facing the lock industry. After all, if the product is good or not, it is not your own decision. The formulation and promotion of standards is related to the healthy development of the industry, and the authority and correctness of standards should be taken seriously.
