1. Coating peeling off
Adhesion between the coating and the plastic part or between the coatings is insufficient. Generally, the roughening is excessive or excessive, and the copper layer or the nickel layer is oxidized.
2. Charred
A rough or otherwise unsatisfactory coating is produced on the tail and edges of the plated part, dark or grayish in color. Usually caused by excessive current.
3. Dew yellow
It is not plated with chrome and reveals a pale yellow nickel layer. Generally, the chrome plating current is low, or the hanger is poorly conductive.
4. White fog
The surface of the plated part lacks luster and exhibits a white misty appearance. The main reason is that the nickel layer is entrained with impurities, contaminated, or formed by passivation.
5. Foaming
There is air in the plating layer, the coating is partially oxidized, or the plastic part contains moisture and impurities, and generally appears in a small area shape.
6. Rough coating, burr
The surface of the plated parts is rough and entrained with granules and nails can be felt. Generally, solid impurities, dust, and metal nodules on the hanger are brought into the plating solution, and deposition is formed in the plating layer.
7. Leakage plating

8. Spotted
Stripe, ring-shaped or irregular, uneven spots on the surface of the coating. The main reasons for the formation are: the imbalance of copper cylinder additives and the lack of leveling.
9. Cracking
Due to the high nickel-plated organic impurities, the coating is brittle, or the thickness of the chromium layer is too thick.

The main reasons for formation:
Surface defects of injection molded parts (pitting, oil/dust, etc.); nodules in the hanging solution are dissolved in the solution, the hanging glue is difficult to clean, and the syrup is contaminated.

12. Pinhole
