Teflon conveyor belt storage and maintenance

Teflon conveyor belt is a high-performance, multi-purpose composite new product which is processed by special process of Teflon coated with glass fiber cloth. Pay attention to the following eleven points in storage, transportation and maintenance.

　　 1. Teflon conveyor belt should be stored in a suitable warehouse in time to avoid bad weather such as sun, rain and rain; it is forbidden to directly contact with acid, alkali, oil and organic solvent, keep it clean and dry , store the warehouse outside the heat source device 1m away. The room temperature should be between -15 °C and 40 °C .

　　 2. The Teflon conveyor belt should be placed in rolls, not folded, and should be flipped once every quarter when the storage time is too long.

　　 3. It is best to use the crane when loading and unloading the Teflon conveyor belt, and use the rigging with beams to hang it securely to prevent the belt from being damaged.

　　 4. The type and specification of Teflon conveyor belt should be reasonably selected according to the needs and specific conditions.

　　 5. It is not allowed to use the Teflon conveyor belts of different varieties, different specifications, models, strengths and fabric layers.

　　 6. Teflon conveyor belt joints are best coated with hot vulcanization to improve reliability and maintain high effective strength.

　　 7. The diameter of the conveying roller of the Teflon conveyor belt and the minimum pulley diameter of the conveyor belt shall comply with the relevant regulations.

　　 8. Do not let the Teflon conveyor belt snake or creep, connect the drag roller and the vertical roller flexibly, and the tension should be appropriate.

　　 9. When the conveyor is equipped with a baffle and a cleaning assembly, the wear of the Teflon conveyor belt should be prevented.

　　 10. Cleanliness is the fundamental premise of the excellent operation of the Teflon conveyor belt . Foreign impurities will affect the belt operation, resulting in deviation, uneven tension and even breakage.

　　 11. When the Teflon transport is found to have signs of initial damage, the cause should be found in real time, and the damaged parts should be repaired in time to prevent the occurrence of undesirable results.
