Spring force meter calibration analysis

The calibration experiment is to calibrate the instrument before use. Position the instrument, place it vertically on a level surface, and add a weight to the handle. For each additional weight, record the amount of spring deflection. Calibrate the test device for the spring. It is known that the force and deformation relationship of the spring is: F = kx where the force of the F spring is; the spring coefficient of the spring; the amount of deformation of the x spring.

By performing a linear regression on the measured data, the calibration curve of the force deformation of the instrument can be obtained.

Spring Calibration Test Devices With the development of scientific computing technology and the popularity of microcomputers, software for processing various test data has appeared. Origin is a graphical visualization and data analysis software developed by OriginLab (formerly Microcal), a high-level data analysis and mapping tool commonly used by researchers and engineers. Since its inception in 1991, due to its simple operation and open functions, it has quickly become one of the most popular analysis softwares in the world. It is recognized as a fast, flexible and easy to learn engineering drawing software. In China, its use range is also more and more extensive <3>. Most of the data in this paper is analyzed and processed using Origin6.1.

On the spring pressure gauge pressure tube, make the equidistant scale along the central axis of the instrument. The starting position of the scale is the upper surface of the pressure tube and the outer sleeve when the pressure gauge is in a free state without any external force applied. The intersection line (plane circle) of the surface. It is possible to use the turning method to scribe the equidistant distance on the pressure tube.

The use of a spring pressure gauge places the instrument vertically on the ground and is positioned by the positioning plate so that the center axis of the instrument is perpendicular to the ground. Pressing the handle, the generated pressure is transmitted to the pressure block and acts on the ground. The recording handle is pressed down by several scale lines (which can be converted into the distance under which the handle is pressed), and the corresponding depression depth value of the clamp.

Through the analysis of Origin6.1, the calibration curve of the instrument is obtained, then the force per unit of compression of the instrument is known. The measured pressure drop distance of the handle is substituted into the calibration equation of the instrument to obtain the pressure applied to the ground. The area (S) of the contact between the pressure block and the ground is determined by the sectional shape of the pressure block. It is known to divide the pressure by the area. The pressure per unit area is the pressure q, and the distance the compact is subsided is the deformation of the soil under this vertical pressure. Thus we can solve the empirical formula of the Bekker soil deformation relationship.
