The Wenzhou Light Industry Research Institute's shoe design training center has recently opened. The first batch of more than 30 students will study footwear design courses within two months and “give gold for their own career”. Wenzhou Light Industry Research Institute is the core unit of the provincial “Leather Industry Science and Technology Innovation Service Platform” Wenzhou Sub-platform—Zhejiang Leather and Shoemaking Engineering Center (Wenzhou). According to briefings, the training center has designed three kinds of shoes-like art, shoe-like design and pattern-making, and computer-like shoe design for the most insufficient shoe-making positions at present. The senior footwear training class is being planned. Some of the first trainees are from employees of Aokang and other shoe companies, and the other are social workers who have learning needs. Upon completion of the study, they will be awarded the Certificate of Completion of the Light Industry Research Institute, and they will participate in the footwear designer certification held by the Municipal Labor and Social Security Bureau. examination.
