Japan has made important new developments in solar power generation technology. Ikeda, a professor at Okayama University in Japan who previously published iron oxide compound solar power generation technology in January 2011, has continued to push forward this development.
He claims that this technology will absorb 100 times more light than the Solar-based solar power generation technology. At the same time, the cost will be low, and the target cost of generating one kilowatt of electricity will be 1,000 yen, which is considered as an important technology in the future.
Ikeda pointed out that this type of battery can absorb infrared light to generate electricity. In addition to sunlight, it can use various heat sources to generate electricity, and it has the characteristics of being flexible and stretchable. It is expected that the range of future installations will be wider.
This technology uses iron oxide compounds (Green Ferrite), and the technology focuses on applying powdery compounds to metals. It is expected that it will be officially put into commercial use in 2013.
The power generation principle of this technology is that a combination of two positive and negatively charged semiconductors absorbs light that is absorbed by the negatively charged semiconductor surface and repels negatively charged electrons in the semiconductor. The electrons move to a positively charged semiconductor surface using an external circuit, which generates electricity.
The electrons accumulated on the iron oxide compounds maintain a delicate balance. Once they are exposed to light, their balance is broken, and a large number of electrons move instantaneously. Therefore, the amount of electricity generated by the same amount of light will be greatly increased.
Threaded flanges are widely demanded as pipe flanges i.e called as threaded pipe flanges used in different industrial applications.
Threaded Flanges are also known as screwed flange, and it is having a thread inside the flange bore which fits on the pipe with matching male thread on the pipe.
This type of joint connection is Speedy and simple but not suitable for high presser and temperature applications. Threaded Flanges are mostly used in utility services such as air and water.
Threaded (Screwed) flange is similar to the Slip-On flange, but the bore is threaded. Its chief merit is that it can be assembled withour welding, explaining its use in low pressure services at ordinary atmospheric temperatures, and in highly explosive areas where welding create a hazard.
The various types of threaded flanges are as follows:
Plain Threaded Flanges
Female Threaded Flanges
Male Threaded Flanges
Threaded Flanges,Raised Face Flange,Steel Threaded Flanges,Screwed Flanges
