Identify the pros and cons of cork flooring

Consumers can judge the quality through the weight, and the weight can be clear whether it is a good one. There are two most important test indicators for good wood flooring: formaldehyde emission, water absorption thickness expansion rate. If you can't identify them from these two aspects, you can start to identify the advantages and disadvantages of cork flooring from the following four aspects.

First, feel the touch

Generally good cork gives a warm and thick feeling, and the brightness is also high. This is due to the presence of cork airbags. If the hand feels cold, the quality is worse.

Second, smell the cork

When consumers buy cork flooring, they can get close to the smell of the board. If it is the fragrance of wood, it means good quality. If it is rubber or formaldehyde, the environmental performance will not meet the standard.

Third, try to feel

Cork contains 42 million very soft cork cells per square meter, giving it a very good resilience. The feet feel very comfortable and non-slip.

Fourth, listen to the sound

Cork flooring is inherently a bubble-like cellular structure that absorbs the sound of walks and objects striking the ground. The weight fell on a good cork floor and the sound was very small. If the sound is loud, you can judge that it is not a good cork floor. For the adhesive cork flooring, the bending strength of the panel surface should be checked by closing the two diagonal lines of the floor to see if there is a crack on the curved surface, and no quality product.
