Answer: 1. Reapply organic fertilizer and apply less fertilizer. The use of organic fertilizers, no or less fertilizer application is an effective measure to improve the sweetness of melon. Generally, organic fertilizers mainly include biogas residue, straw rot, chicken manure and bean cake. It can be used for 15 cubic meters of decomposed chicken manure and 100 to 150 kilograms of bean cake per 667 square meters.
2. Increase the temperature difference between day and night. The larger temperature difference between day and night is conducive to the accumulation of photosynthetic products (sugars). In the result stage of melon, the temperature difference between day and night should be increased as much as possible. In general, the daytime temperature in the shed is kept at 30~35°C, the nighttime temperature is maintained at 13~14°C, and the temperature difference between day and night is kept at 16~18°C.
3. Reasonably increase the application of potassium fertilizer. In the case of low nitrogen and high potassium in the soil, the sweetness of melon is significantly reduced. Therefore, in the period of melon melon, the amount of nitrogen fertilizer should be reduced and potassium fertilizer should be increased. In the initial stage of the cassava, 8-10 kg of potassium fertilizer or 20 kg of sputum potassium compound fertilizer can be applied per 667 square meters.
4. Proper water control. When the melon is too mature, the soil moisture is too large, which will not only reduce the sweetness of the melon, but also prone to "water rotten melon". Especially in the 10 days before the melon is near maturity, we must pay attention to water control.
5. Increase the light. The shed film should be rubbed frequently, and there should be no water drops. The leaves that are shaded around the melon should be removed to increase the transparency between the plants.
6. Harvest at the right time. Generally, melons can be fully matured after 30 to 35 days of development, and the sugar content is high, and the flavor is good. However, at present, some melon farmers often harvest early for the morning market, which reduces the sweetness of melon. Proper harvesting is the basic measure to ensure the sweetness of melon.
