For softer formations, use a bit that is longer than the "teeth", otherwise it will be very difficult to drill because the soil is too sticky. Drilling depth reflects the quality of the drill bit in one aspect. Deng Meng said that the deeper the drilling, the higher the temperature and formation pressure, and the wear of the drill bit is even greater. Below 2000 meters underground is a shallow well, 3000-5000 meters is a medium-deep well, 5000-7000 meters is a deep well, and below 7000-8000 meters is an ultra-deep well. The drill of Chengdu Gems can be drilled to this depth. At present, domestic production can reach this depth. There are only a handful of companies with drill bits.
